To increase safety and security and also try to passengers be more comfortable, Jetway are used in many airports. This machine connect airport saloon to plane. It means that one side is fixed on salon and the other side can adopt itself to plane. Using this machine causes that passengers will be isolate from outdoor so no harmful effect of sunshine, wind, hot weather, etc., occurs.

DSI technical team rebuild one of these machine in Pardis factory for the first time in Iran. This Jetway was prepared for Kerman international airport.

This project took about 6000 hours engineering work hours and 20000 hours work hour. It took about a year and finished in 1382 summer. this project contained two subproject, mechanical and electrical.

Mechanical mechanism didn’t need to any basic changes and it was only rebuilt. Electrical system was too old to repair, so DSI technical team design and executive a new modern system to operate and control the Jetway. This new modified system cause high efficiency, safe system to use.

DSI technical team rebuilt another Jetway for Ardebil international airport and installed it in 1382 winter.
